Rapper T.I. is doing his own version of Lil Kim’s Countdown to Lockdown, which followed Kim as she prepared to serve a stint in prison on perjury charges. According to yesterday’s NY Post, it appears the US Attorney in Atlanta has given T.I. the green light on the MTV reality series, T.I.’s Road To Redemption. The show will follow T.I. as he makes a last ditch effort to avoid prison time (he is scheduled to serve a year in prison on federal weapons charges beginning in March) by completing 1,000 hours of community service. Along the way, T.I. attempts to turn around the lives of at-risk teens. T.I. will receive royalties for the show, which poses a problem. The “Son of Sam” laws forbid individuals from benefiting financially from their unlawful acts. “If he is making money on it, it is not going to count toward his community service,” US Attorney’s office spokesperson Patrick Crosby tells the Post.
You know what, I’m not mad at T.I. for trying to avoid a year in the clink – he doesn’t have the upper body strength to fight off big, gay Bubba…have you seen his little bird chest??? LOL!!!
The Atlanta streets say he may not even have to do that time…..
