Saving Ashley
Russell Simmons mission of sticking up for women whose only contribution to society so far has been their cootch continues:
“Ashley Dupre is back on the scene. Eliot Spitzer’s high-priced escort was at club Norwood Wednesday for a screening of ‘The Cove’ hosted by Russell Simmons. ‘Ashley became friends with Russell after they met at Jivamukti Yoga,’ said a source. ‘Russell has taken her under his wing because he believes she isn’t the bad girl everyone thinks she is.’ Dupre, who arrived alone, was soon chatting with actor Leon Preston Robinson IV. ‘She was one of the last ones to leave,’ said our source. Dupre will now be a regular blogger on Simmons’ Global Grind Web site, which also showcases her music.” (Page Six)
This news comes on the heels of the 2 to 3 paragraph missive posted by Uncle Russy on his Global Grind website a week or so back in which he comes to the defense of Amber Rose against her naysayers. Now I’ll be the first to say one mistake should not haunt a person for the rest of their life, but I’m going to need to see some good being done by the person in question before I throw caution to the wind and jump in their corner, and no, vamping it up in a fashion spread for the NY Post (Dupre) or bagging a multi-platinum selling rapper (Rose) doesn’t count!!! It is completely disheartening for me to see the many young women that work multiple jobs just to get through college, their determination to do it the right way never wavering. Truth be told, they could just as well use their bodies and looks to attain success the wrong way. AND YES I’M SAYING STRIPPING AND SELLING YOUR COOTCH TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER IS GOING ABOUT IT THE WRONG WAY. CALL ME JUDGMENTAL IF YOU WANT TO, BUT DON’T CALL ME ACTING A CRACKHEAD FOOL IF IT EVER COMES A DAY WHEN YOUR DAUGHTER TELLS YOU SHE HAS BECOME ONE WITH THE POLE!!! Anyhoo, the aforementioned struggling women would give their left arm, right lung, and big toe to have someone in Russell’s position take them under their tutelage. I’m not saying he hasn’t provided guidance or mentoring to a poor coed at some point, but I am saying his obvious passion for women like Amber and Ashley has me feeling kind of foolish for working so hard to get through college and law school when all I needed to succeed in life is what I’ve had since I came into this world naked as a jaybird!!! Russell’s vocality in defending these women relays the message loud and clear: IF YOU WANT TO MAKE IT, STOP TRYING TO MASTER THE LAWS OF PHYSICS AND MASTER HOW TO RIDE A D*CK!!!!
