I thought it was a complete joke when I first heard that DMX was fighting in a celebrity-boxing match, but apparently X really did sign up to fight actor Eric Martinez, and now he’s being sued for backing out of it:

“Rapper DMX is up against the ropes again — being sued for $1 million after he backed out of a celebrity-boxing match, according to a published report.

The lyricist was supposed to step into the ring on Dec. 12 to square off against muscled actor Eric Martinez.

But DMX turned tail after the promoters refused to fix the fight, sticking Thunder Productions with a hefty bill, TMZ.com reported.

Fellow rapper Coolio is set to take his place.” (NY Post)

Smart move on X’s part…if he would have gone through with this charade and got his ass whipped, instead of a Pit Bull, the breed of dog that would come to mind whenever someone said his name would be a Maltipoo, LOL!!!
